The beautiful blossoms in April resulted in a bountiful crop of apples. More apples than we know what to do with. The horses have been enjoying them by the bucket full! I made my first ever apple pie - very domestic of me. We went on to make apple bread, apple muffins, apple crumble, apple bars etc. etc. We have a new resident at the barn, I call him Tom and he's a friendly frog who loves to hang out in the cat's water bowl. When he's not in his "pond" he's hiding out in the tarp or hoping around the barn eating bugs.
