Aug 20/21 - A relatively normal weekend

Well, its been a while since the Amish came to clean house and boy did we need it! Ah...its so nice to have a clean house, just wish it would last longer than a week. After all the rain the grass is out of control, I can't keep up with the mowing. I am starting to get really busy with building up Sassy's fitness too. Sunday we went for a lesson with a new trainer to help us with our show jumping. It was awesome, I'm feeling really positive about our preparation for the championship. The favorite book I read in 2010 was "The Help" so it was fun to go and see the movie this weekend with my girlfriend Nicole. Justin brewed beer and made dog cookies with the leftover grains - they are obsessed with them! Shapash has been in heat the last two weeks, so poor Strider has had a hard time of it. We have a new Mexican restaurant in town and its pretty good, this is me with the burrito grande!

Justin is also working on "twidling" (as I call it) legs for the vanity that will support the utility sink in the laundry room. He has switched out the router on his computer controlled woodworking unit and replaced it with the lathe (that is a simplified sentence since he also had to write the corresponding computer code to control it). You know...we might actually visit the laundry room this year!
