Spring is here, the daffodils are out, the tulips are blooming, we have blossom on the fruit trees and it smells divine. Justin cleaned off the mower deck and attached it back onto the tractor as the grass is out of control. This was a busy Easter weekend prepping for John and Mary-Katherine's visit. We had the Amish in to clean house on Saturday and then Sunday was picking sticks, mowing and round-up. The weeds are out of control, but the farm looks half way presentable. The highlight of the previous week was the opening of Royal Farms, the new gas station in town. Now we have somewhere close to get diesel for the tractor, I can fit the truck and trailer in to get gas and they have a deli and fried chicken, so that's what we had opening night. We're real country folks getting dinner from the gas station!
