Our weekend doing something other than house or horses in March was delayed with Justin's trip to Germany, so this weekend we planned to go to DC to see the Cherry Blossom. Whilst searching online we learned about a neighborhood called Kenwood in Bethesda, MD that also has fabulous cherry blossoms, so we decided to check this out instead. It was a beautiful old historic neighborhood with hundreds of Japanese cherry trees. Although it was just as neat to walk around the homes as it was to see the trees. Of course, the day trip involved beer - on the way back we had lunch and beer sampling at Franklin's a Brewery in Hyattsville, MD.
