We had a jam packed week long trip to England and got really lucky with the weather, it was sunny and warm. Most of our time was spent zipping between Julie's Mum & Sam, Dad and Alison, Gran and then Ian, Leigh and the boys. Although we did have a little extra time to visit with friends too. My maid of honor, Claire, had a new baby girl, Lucy, and my good friend Tamara has opened her own tack shop. We had a lot of fun playing Nintendo with Jake and Jamie, they are just SO CUTE and it was fun getting to know them better. Most of all we did A LOT of drinking and eating! We had an especially fun day beer tasting all afternoon with Mon and Sam. Then we had a nice afternoon talking about World War II with Gran (sparked by the recent HBO mini-series, The Pacific and our visit to the WWII memorial in DC). On Sunday was the christening for Jake and Jamie, friends and family got together at the church for the service and after wards for a BBQ lunch at a hotel in town. Justin and I were honored to be godparents. As always it was sad to say goodbye! We miss you all!!
