At 3am on April 30th Quest gave birth to her foal, a bay colt we named Firenze. Everything went well and mother and baby are doing great. Although Quest tried to be sneaky and went down to foal whilst the girl on foal watch nipped out to the bathroom. Lucky she got back just in time... those ponies are smart! Firenze was big and strong and full of spunk from the get go, plus he is SO CUTE and totally adorable! I can't believe after 11months he is finally here! We couldn't be more thrilled. Justin came out on his lunch break from work the next day to visit. They will stay at Hilltop farm for a month before coming home.
