I took my neighbor's Haflinger pony, Magic, to his first dressage show at Fairhill. It was also only the second time he'd been off the farm. The first being a couple of weeks ago when we took him down the street to a friend's arena to see how he'd handle the change of environment. He's a spooky horse by nature but handled it all very well. But he was super excited at the show and we were worried he wouldn't settle down, but he did and pulled out an amazing performance. We won both of our classes and scored an incredible 80% on our second dressage test. Barbara was just thrilled with all the work I've been doing with him. He's come a long way in the last year and is showing a lot of promise. As you can see form the photos, it was also a rainy day.
