Wow...it's 2012 already - what happened to 2011?! As always we went to our neighbors, Deb and Coley Brown's for a New Years Eve party. We also can't believe how mild the weather has been and I don't think we've had any snow yet. We had planned to turn the heat on before Dianne and Mike came for Christmas, but it wasn't that cold when they arrived, so we tried to leave it off. Justin and I are used to it being cold. Good sports Dianne and Mike braved it for a day & night, but then we turned it on. Although as soon as they left we turned it off again. He He! New years Day I went for a ride out at Fairhill and I met some girls on the trail. We got to talking and it turns out we have lots of friends in common and knew each other indirectly, so we formed a fast friendship and plan to ride out again together soon. They are twin identical sisters - how fun! I call them the cowgirls, since they ride Western.
