Yeah, its almost Christmas! We had a busy weekend prepping for the
holiday. The Amish came to clean house and Justin and I went to go get a
Christmas tree. Instead of wandering the lot with the chainsaw, we got
lucky and found a beautiful tree in the pre-cut section. We were in and
out in 10 minutes. This last week our new wood burning stove (well new to us, although we bought it used) was hooked up and the chimney liner installed. We can't even begin to tell you how nice it is to have the stove and how much heat it puts out, we're real cozy in the library. Right now it is sitting on a cement board hearth, but Justin plans to make a concrete hearth like the counter top he made for the laundry room. Malfoy is doing much better. He had the drains removed but he's still wearing the collar and can't go outside. He's stir crazy being cooped up in the house and annoying us whilst we watch TV, swatting at us and begging to be petted.
