It was with sad hearts that we flew back to CA as we learned the news this week that Grandma Jae passed away. We booked our flights just a couple of months earlier hoping we'd get to say goodbye, but unfortunately the cancer progressed quicker than anticipated and Grandma's health went down hill fast in July & August. We were glad that Dianne and Mike were with her when she passed and that it was peaceful. Grandma was such an inspiration - an independent, determined woman, and an incredible athlete - we will miss her but I know we'll take Grandma with us through the rest of our lives. I'm sure she's swimming laps in heaven! We took some of her ashes to a scenic overlook on Mt. Diablo and so she'll rest overlooking the towns of Danville and Walnut Creek where she lived.
