It is always hard to settle back into the routine when returning from a trip....back to work.....urrrgghh! Mom and Sam made their way home safely, it was so fun to have them visit. Hope you'll be back soon! The tomatoes are really taking off in the garden. Unfortunately the truck has seen its best days and we have decided to just patch it and look for another truck, it is just not safe for trailering the horses. Thankfully all the animals did good whilst we were on vacation and our friend Cory enjoyed house sitting despite the lack of air conditioning. We've had no rain though now for six weeks and it was super hot whilst we were gone. When we left on the trip the grass was green and we return to parched and burnt out paddocks. Just like CA. I started feeding the horses hay and it turns out I will do so for over a month...a serious drought. Justin's birthday was June 26th and we had a great dinner at the Iron Hill Brewery. He got a new camera and was very excited to try it out, hence the photos of Sassy.
