After months without rain the heavens finally opened and it absolutely poured!!! Timing could have been better, since it was Firenze's inspection with the North American Sport Pony registry. Friday night both Quest and Firenze got a bath. I was up really early on Saturday to braid, since I knew it would be a difficult job getting Firenze to stand still. Luckily he loaded well onto the trailer and thanks to Barbara we were able to go to the inspection as she generously offered to drive her truck (ours is still in the repair shop). It rained all day and the inspection site was flooded. Firenze was not impressed about walking through puddles but he was a trooper and coped with it all very very. He showed very nice and the inspectors really like him, especially his powerful hind end. He scored a 7.7 and was Reserve Site Champion!!
