We had a great holiday weekend working in the garden. The biggest project was pulling out all the weeds around the deck and planting shrubs. We had already planted the Japanese Maple earlier in the year (Easter gift from Dianne & Mike), so we put Blue Prince Holly behind and then planted Barberry, Heavenly Bamboo and a couple of kinds of Eunonymus. Justin set the firewood holder level on concrete and used a decorative concrete mold to create steps in the front. Then when I was riding the horses Justin painted the Lawn Jockey.
