FINALLY - its been months since the peaches started to grow on the tree, but then they just sat there, they didn't grow or soften. Then this week they just exploded with growth, but unfortunately they all ripened at once and then rotted with the excess of rain two days later, oh no! We picked a bowl full, but only got to eat 2-3 as they didn't keep well, not sure why?
The Amish have a vegetable and bake sale at the end of their drive every Saturday and Justin has become addicted to Whoopies pies. He's become a regular costumer. This weekend he was a little late stopping by and the Amish were all concerned, but they saved him two whoopie pies...just in case, LOL! They all know him as the whoopie pie guy!
This weekend we loaded up on half of the allocation of hay for the winter, it was 90s - phewy! Not the best weather for stacking bales!
