We had a weekend break from the barn construction. On Saturday we went to a dog show near Baltimore with Strider and Shapash. Strider showed well, although there was no points to be had. Shapash did O.K, but she really doesn't like indoor shows (the crowds and tight spaces make her more nervous) and I think we'll only take her to outdoor shows in the future. We got to meet up with some Ibizan friends and had a fun time. On Sunday I went on a paper chase with our neighbor Sandy and her friend Mary up in Cheshire Hunt country. It was a beautiful fall day - perfect for running and jumping through the countryside. We've had a lovely week of weather and the garden sprung back to life, we are overloaded with eggplant.
