Aug 1st - Grading completed

Sassy and I compete at Olney Horse Trials on Aug 2nd and place 7th under very wet conditions. We get completely drenched in a massive thunderstorm and have to shelter in the trailer for 45mins. It is a personal victory since Sassy jumped the drop into the water - the only type of jump she hesitates about. After the wood shed was gone the graders came out and prepared the pad for the barn, they did a fantastic job. It took all week because of all the rain - we've had thunder storms every night this week. The before and after photos don't really show the downhill grade, the back of the pad was raised about 4-5 ft. Wow - we can really imagine the barn being there now! The vegetable garden is on overdrive as you can see.
