Saturday was the Kentucky Derby Party, an annual neighborhood get together that kicks of the summer social calendar. I can still taste the mint juleps! Sassy and I competed at the MCTA Horse Trials in Cockeysville, MD on Sunday. It was a big course and a very competitive division, I was nervous going into XC as some of the fences were HUGE and I couldn't imagine jumping them, but Sassy had a blast and rocked it! A great start to the season and a real confidence builder, woo hoo!
