We had our annual Herndon Holiday party on Saturday. Friday Justin went with Angela and Dan to get the Christmas tree and there was a TV film crew there and they interviewed Justin and Angela (Dan disappeared very fast when the cameras came out!) about Christmas trees and filmed them cutting down the tree and loading it into the truck etc. Justin commented on how he liked the "pine fresh scent" and Angela said she prefers fake trees, LOL! It was the first time Angela had cut down a tree for Christmas. Saturday Justin and Dan did all the Christmas lights on the house and barn, Angela and I prepped all the food. This year we were able to put out luminaries again (no snow this year). The holiday party was a great success, we had about 60 guests and they ate a feast and drank gallons of beer, wine and my homemade egg nog! This week it has been freezing cold...brrrr! We broke out the heated water buckets for the horses.
